Gone are the days when couples want to blow the budget on a fancy wedding. Perhaps it is the recession that has Brides and grooms every wear trimming the icing off the cake , not to mention wedding favours, even gold jewelry is losing its popularity at weddings.
Sure enough favours are the last object your guests have to remind them of your special day, but do you really want to pend a fortune or would you rather prefer to treat yourself to some new white gold jewelry instead or perhaps a destination honeymoon or towards your new home.
Well some ways to save money off wedding favours includes a Candy Bar, this treat is guaranteed to have all guests feel like kids in a candy store. One option is to replace dessert with an open candy bar where you serve a variety of sweet treats which could include usual variety of candy or you could even opt for mini pastries and other confectionery delights.
My favourite home diva has got to be Martha Stewart. I love Martha ingenious ideas, one of my favourites is her Pretty Pinups Candy(pictured above). Instead of worry about buying Apothecary jars or worrying about the display you can simple pin the candy up for an original touch.
The best part about Candy buffets is that they are flexible, you ca even coordinate the colours oft the candy with your wedding theme colours. If you have an evening wedding and want some sparkle to your candy buffet then you can simply get gold foil wrapped candy or chocolate.
